What is an interactive presentation?
A web presentation Bridger builds for you. People open it from a link, you see who viewed it, and it can collect responses and bookings.
An interactive presentation is a presentation that runs in a web browser. Bridger designs and builds it for you, and your audience opens it from a link instead of downloading a file. Each time someone opens the link, the visit is recorded, so you can see who looked at it, for how long, and which pages they opened.
In your workspace these are called presentations, and some screens call one a deck. They mean the same thing.
How is it different from a slide file?
A slide file is a copy. Once you send it, you can't change it and you can't see what happens to it. An interactive presentation lives at one address:
- It is always current. Edit the text or Bridger ships a new version, and everyone holding the link sees the change the next time they open it. Nothing has to be sent again.
- It records visits. Opens, time spent and pages viewed show up in Insights. See what the numbers count.
- It works on any screen. It opens in a browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. Nobody needs an account or an app to view it.
What can an interactive presentation do?
What a given presentation does depends on what Bridger built into it and which features are switched on for it. The full set:
| Feature | What it does | Who turns it on |
|---|---|---|
| Share by link | Send a standard link, or a named link for each person so you can see who opened it | On for every presentation |
| Visit tracking | Records each visit, its length and the pages viewed, in Insights | On for every presentation |
| Responses | A form, a booking step, a quiz or a file upload built into a page. Answers appear in Insights under Results | Built in by Bridger |
| Editing | Change the text, and the images Bridger allows, yourself. Changes go live straight away | Bridger turns it on for each presentation |
| Personalized links | Make one link per recipient with their name, company and your own contact details in it | Bridger turns it on for each presentation |
| Embedding | Put the presentation on your own website with a short code snippet | On for every presentation |
| PDF download | Save a PDF copy with a link back to the live version | Bridger turns it on for each presentation |
If a feature is missing from one of your presentations, it is switched off for that presentation. It isn't broken. Ask your Bridger team to turn it on.
Where do I find my presentations?
Open Library in the sidebar. It lists every presentation in your workspace. Select one to open it, share it, or see its numbers. A presentation Bridger is still working on shows This deck isn't live yet. until it is published.
Your role decides what you can do there. Anyone in the workspace can view, share and see numbers. Editing, personalizing, duplicating and downloading a PDF need a Workspace owner or Editor role. See roles in your workspace.
