What the numbers count
By default, Insights shows external reach — people outside Bridger and outside your own team opening your projects. Your previews and ours are excluded from every figure on the page unless you ask for them.
That default exists because the alternative is worse: a number that quietly counts the team rehearsing a deck is a number nobody can act on.
The three audiences
Switch between them with the segment control.
External reach (the default) counts two kinds of visit: someone opening a tracked link made for them, and someone opening a public link. This is the real audience.
Internal counts the opposite — previews, presenting and training sessions from signed-in portal users, yours and ours.
All visitors counts both together. Useful for "did this page work at all", misleading for "how did the campaign do".

The four windows
Last 7 days, last 30, last 90, and all time. The bare page is last 30 days; anything else appears in the URL, so a filtered view is a link you can send.
If you followed a link from a weekly digest email, it carries the exact range the email computed rather than a rounded window — so the number on the page matches the number you were sent, which is the whole point.
How a visit is measured
One visit is one viewing session. Its duration runs from when the project opened to the last moment the page reported still being there, so a tab left open on a dead laptop stops counting when the reporting stops rather than running forever.
Why a number can go down
All-time totals never fall. A trailing window's can: the window moves, and a visit from 31 days ago is outside "last 30 days" today even though it happened. If a figure dropped without anything changing, check whether you are comparing a trailing window against a fixed one.
